Tigers and their adult partners are just that, partners. They attend meetings, go on adventures like field trips, and complete requirements together.
The adult partner acknowledges the completion of each achievement. The Tiger Scouts also keep track of their advancement using the Adventure Tracking section in the back of their handbooks.
For Ages 6/7 or in 1st Grade

The official handbook is a Scout’s guide to their year in Cub Scouting. They can find everything necessary to complete requirements and many other Family Scouting activities.
Scouts should purchase the Cub Scout uniform, as shown below.

Cub Scouts earn Adventures that are specific to their grade and rank. A number of Adventures must be completed to earn the badge of rank for each grade level. Completion of Adventures is how the aims of character, citizenship, leadership, and personal fitness are developed.
To earn the Tiger badge of rank, you must complete six required Adventures and any two elective Adventures.
The requirements and information necessary to earn the Lion rank are included in the Tiger Cub Scout Handbook and are also detailed on the Cub Scout Tiger Adventures Resource Page.
